We will be watching the 2013 film “Kidnapped”. The film tells the true story of young Jewish boy Edgardo Mortara, who, after being secretly baptized in 1858, is taken from his family to be raised as a Christian in Bologna following being abducted by the Papal Police. The film is in Italian with English subtitles. However, the film is dubbed in English on Amazon Prime for $4.99. The film is available for free on Kanopy in CA with a Public Library card #, on Apple TV for $3.99, and on Fandango and Google Play Movies and TV for $4.99.
