Selichot Service with Wine & Cheese & Themed Program.
Selichot are penitential poems and prayers we say in preparation for the High Holidays, and this year our evening will be extra special as Cantor Allison has arranged for a string trio to provide beautiful music for our celebration.
We will start with a wine and cheese reception at 6:13 p.m. (in honor of the 613 commandments in the Torah). This is followed by a moving worship experience, including our ceremony of changing the year-round blue Torah mantles to the special white ones for the Days of Awe.
