Honoring Remarkable Members of Our Community

 

            The Annual Fundraising Committee is excited to announce we are having our Annual Fundraiser and Awards Dinner on April 24, 2010 starting at 5:30pm. We are honoring four remarkable members of our Community — Linda Spiel, Bob Buente and Mindy and Gene Stein. Each of these community members is truly a Shomer Tzedek, a Guardian of Righteousness.

            The Annual Fundraising Committee has worked diligently to put together an evening of entertainment and celebration beginning with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception, followed by silent and live auctions, presentations to our wonderful honorees and a raffle drawing at the conclusion of our event. Our delicious sit-down dinner is being catered by David Rowe of Rowe Cuisine. This year’s event will be one not to miss!  The event is sold out as of 4/16 but you may still participate by buying Raffle Tickets (thru 4/24) or by making a Sponsorship donation.

 

            There are still many ways to participate in this year’s fundraiser. This is our only major fundraiser for the year so we would like to encourage each member of Temple Sinai to find a way to participate — large or small. We have received donations from our members as well as from those in the greater community for our live and silent auctions. Here are a few examples of what you will see in our Live Auction this year:

Relaxing week long stay in an incredible condo in Palm Springs

Two Premier Lakers Seats for a 2010-2011 Game including parking

            Raffle tickets for the fundraiser are being sold at $5 per ticket, or a booklet of 5 tickets for $20. Tickets will be available for sale the night of the event.
